Ola Schibbelhut was born to Fred L. and Ethel E. (Chenoweth) Chatham on September 23, 1919 in Springfield, Colorado. She passed away on November 28, 2012 at the Bent County Memorial Nursing Home in Las Animas, Colorado at the age of 93.
She is survived by her children, Naomi Schibbelhut, Alice McBee, Perry Schibbelhut, and Rita Horton all of Lamar, Colorado; five grandchildren, Nikki Mauch, Drema Eaton, Shannon McBee, Shane Horton, Wendy Weimert; six great-grandchildren, Skyler Mauch, Colton Mauch, Kendale Mauch, Dakota Eaton, Devin Eaton, and Kyra Weimert; and one sister, Vela Frank of Lamar.
Ola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick Schibbelhut; son-in-law, Kenny McBee; and four brothers, Frank Chatham, Oran Chatham, Ray Chatham, and Vernon Chatham.
