Dolores (Pilkington) DiRezza, affectionately known as "DoDo", was born on February 19, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Aubrey Ellis and Beatrice Mae (Doyle) Pilkington. She passed away on April 8, 2013 at her home in Las Animas.
DoDo was raised in Denver, Colorado. On November 26, 1955 she was united in marriage to David Nero DiRezza. To this union they had two children. In 1958 she was named Mrs. Colorado. It was in 1972 when David and DoDo moved to Las Animas where they raised their family. DoDo was the first woman director of the Colorado Boys Ranch and was a member of Cowbelles, Ark-Valley Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
DoDo is survived by her husband, David of the home; son, Dan DiRezza and wife Katrena of Las Animas; daughter, Tammy Lea DiRezza of Las Animas; two sisters, Pamela Pilkington of Denver and Pat Kyffin of Pueblo; four grandchildren, Kendra, Kassidy, Kain, and Kody DiRezza; many other relatives and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
