Sheila Irene Schibbelhut was born on June 8, 1960 in Lamar, CO to Carl F. Shefferd and Helen Iren Dreyer and at the age of 16 was adopted by Robert and Jeraldine Schibbelhut. She passed away on June 25, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 53.
Sheila is survived by her two sons, Bradley Schibbelhut of California and Sam Schibbelhut of the family home; mother, Jerry Schibbelhut of Hasty, CO; biological siblings, Glen Shefferd and wife, Joni of Coolidge, KS, Carla Christian and husband, Kenneth of Holly, CO, Brenda Hunter of Denver, CO, Troy Bird and wife, Vicky of Denver, CO, Becky Winslow of Johnstown, CO; adoptive siblings, Barbara Weimer of Kansas, Peggy Shankle of Lamar, Vicky Slansky of Kansas, Debby Schibbelhut of Hasty, Penny Gonzales of McClave, CO, Debra Schibbelhut of Lamar, Jeffrey Schibbelhut of Rocky Ford, Steven Schibbelhut of Kansas; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Caleb, Caden, and Chandler; best friends, Mae Stewart and Cori Jo Rule; many other relatives and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Schibbelhut; brothers, Bobby and Matt Schibbelhut; and birth parents, Carl and Helen.
